Thomasville Medical Center will be taking
Blood Pressures & Blood Tests for
the Spanish Community.

Thomasville Medical Boardholds
meetings
every month.
·Representatives
from
the Latino Credit Union will be here on
Saturday, February 11, 2012.
Our
Lady’s Guild:

gifts were distributed to the
children.

Pregnancy:100 baby bottles distributed &
53 have been returned. Deadline is Sunday,
January 29, 2012.
·Souper
Bowl Fundraiser:February

& 5th,Soup,
Chili, & Bread will be sold after
each Mass.

Fundraiser – Saturday, February 11, 2011 at
6:00 P.M., at the Parish Center.
·Next
meeting will be on Wednesday, February 1,
2012, at the Lexington Tea House.

tickets have been sold and the
January winners were Greg O’Brien and Trini
Versoza!!!
·“Living
Rosary” held on “Right to Life” Sunday,
January 22, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. , was very
nice, 15 parishioners attended.
·“Running
of the Rose” similar
to the Torch Run -
will be held in March – This run crosses the
states of Virginia, Florida, and
North Carolina to its final destination of
Mexico City, Mexico. Runners are
needed.
·L.A.M.B.:Frank
Greco, is the new Chairman for L.A.M.B.
·L.A.M.B.:
Fund
Drives have raised over $3,200.00
this year and exceeded our goal.

Blaise Feast – Blessing of the Throats, on
February 4th & 5th,
after all Masses.
Diocesan
Support Appeal (DSA): our goal is $ 17,
423.00 this year.
Church
Audit – An audit will be performed on
Saturday, February 25, 2012.
Davidson
County School System: is helping the
Spanish population to keep up with their
homework, helping parents to overcome
their fears re: attending school meetings,
Parent/Teacher Conferences, etc.
Our Lady
of the Highways held a similar meeting
with the Spanish Community and turnout was
great.
Veterans
Building: Owners came to Fr. Al first –
asking price is $187,000. Representatives
will be coming to see the building on
Monday, January 30, 2011
The Mayor
called Fr. Al to notify him of a meeting,
at City Hall, on Thursday, February 16,
2012, re: The Needs & Issues of the
Hispanic Community.
First
Methodist Lenten Service /Grace Episcopal:4
